From a parent's point of view
Control contacts
-
You control who your children can send emails to and receive emails from
-
Save time by letting your children request new contacts
-
Emails from unknown people can either be:
-
deleted
-
sent to you for approval
-
or first have a challenge sent back to the sender
Control attachments
-
Still concerned about attachments?
-
you decide which contacts you trust with attachments
-
Block attachments from a contact, or have them sent to you for approval
No spying
-
Mifrenz is not a tool to spy on your children's emails, but rather a tool to help keep unwanted emails away
Control location of access
-
Mifrenz is not a website but is installed on your computer
-
Your child will only be able to access their email from the computers that you choose to install Mifrenz on
From a child's point of view
-
Mifrenz has a simple yet not overly childish design
-
An interface that is functional yet straightforward to use
Special features that your children should enjoy:
-
Create, send and collect jokes
-
Change the 'skin' to suit their style
-
Have emails read out to them
-
Choose their own logon picture
From a teenager's point of view
-
Txting and Facebook are much cooler!
-
However, there may still be a need to use email and Mifrenz provides a simple anti bullying switch so that teenagers can easily block emails from those 'once were friends'
-
If they DO NOT want to use Mifrenz, just give them the GMail password to their account and show them how to access their email directly using the GMail web interface - they can still use the same email address - that was easy!
